This is a guest post by Josh from WA Weddings, an awesome new bridal blog showcasing original photography and inspirational ideas from beautiful West Australian weddings.

I always love to see invitations that include a beautiful illustrated map—they're a really fun way to express your creativity and they never fail to impress your guests.

My own wedding took place in India and I used it as an opportunity to design a map inspired by a Indian tourist guide from the 1940s. Check it out, along with some of other great maps I've seen around the web:

1) Custom Map Inspired by a 1940s Tourist Guide

3) Contemporary Map with Vintage Echoes

4) Whimsical and Elegant Hand-Drawn Map

5) Hand lettering over Watercolour Textures

By Wouldn't It Be Lovely (California, United States)

6) Two Colour Map on Textured Card

By Distinctive Directions (Iowa, United States)
